HVAC-R – EUROVENT CERTITA CERTIFICATION
We are happy to share the news that Cooper&Hunter has received a certificate for climate equipment from the leading European certification authority in the field of HVAC-R - Eurovent Certita Certification.
C&H considers this a notable achievement as Eurovent Certita Certificaion, founded in 1993, is a recognized world leader in the independent certification of third-party products for air conditioning and ventilation systems. Based on a voluntary scheme, third-party certification is open to all manufacturers, as well as to distributors who can apply through the system.
As a certification body accredited by Cofrac-Accreditation 5-5017, Eurovent Certita Certification meets the requirements of EN ISO / CEI 17065: 2012. Cofrac is a party to the Multilateral Agreement on European Cooperation on Accreditation (EN), internationally recognized by the IAF (International Accreditation Forum). Consequently, Eurovent Certita Certification accreditation is recognized worldwide by IAF signatories.
The purpose of all Eurovent Certified Performance (ECP) Programs is to encourage honest competition and to assure customers that equipment is correctly rated on the market. The purpose is achieved by verifying the accuracy of manufacturer’s ratings claimed by continuously testing production models, which are randomly selected, in independent laboratories. An important operation objective is to make each certification program sufficiently effective and reliable so that the market (e.g. private individuals, other buyers, specifiers, building energy/tax country organizations, calculation software editors) recognize ECP certified equipment and require it when making investment decisions.
The Eurovent Certificate ensures that the equipment purchased by the buyer (providing cooling and air conditioning), its technological and technical characteristics comply with international and European standards.
