The National Saudi Arabia Centre for Waste Management in cooperation with th Saudi Centre fro Energy Effciency announced the launch pf the third phase of Estda' (Replacement) – an initiative aimed to enhance energy efficiency.
The latest phase running phase, running until December 2025 seeks to replace 250 000 old air conditioners which do not meet envronmental standards and convert them into recyclable materials.
The phase builds on successes by the previous two phase during which 88 000 window ASs were recycled. The implementation of the inintiative be expanded in conjunction with the private sector to cover all regions of the kingdom the Saudi
