CHV SOLAR MINI solution

Responding to today's challenges, COOPER&HUNTER has developed a fundamentally new microclimate system – CHV SOLAR MINI. The system combines the energy-efficient VRF – CHV MINI series and photovoltaic solar energy units (PV). The VRF unit of such a system is independent of possible blackouts, as it is connected to a solar panel that is autonomous from the power grid. The system provides five possible modes of operation.

MODE 1 When the power produced by PV equals the demand of the CHV SOLAR MINI, the VRF unit uses only PV.

MODE 2 When the electricity produced by the PV is less than the consumption of the CHV SOLAR MINI, the required electricity will be obtained from the grid in addition to the electricity generation system of the PV system.

MODE 3 When the PV generated power exceeds the consumption demand of the CHV SOLAR MINI, the PV power will give priority to the CHV SOLAR MINI, and then the remaining power will be directed to the grid or stored.

MODE 4: When the photovoltaic system (solar panels) is not working, the system draws energy from the grid. In this case, the system works as a VRF inverter unit

MODE 5: When the CHV SOLAR MINI stops working, the electricity produced by the photovoltaic system (solar panels) is sent to the grid or stored. In this case, the system works as a solar power plant.
